ARE YOU HERE, because you want to learn
how to CLONE your Objects with an Mirror like Zach King does?
Then i can tell you that you are right here.
What we are going to learn:
1. Jumpcut
To make a Video just like this you have to know what a jumpcut is.
We see jumpcuts Everyday, we can´t avoid them.
It´s not much more than an simple cut between 2 Frames.
Yes this Sounds easy but for us, we have to do a few things more
than just to cut the Video.
The Magic only happens if we can HIDE that jumpcut.
When the Viewer can´t see that there was a jumpcut. And this is only possible if we match the image that we capturing identical. With an tripod we can stabilize the image massively. It may be enough just to have a tripod and a calm hand or actors.
Please watch this Unedited Video so you can understand it better
So as you can see i try´d to act calm with my hands and hardly try´d not to move them. For the bottle i looked out to match with the Reflection one.
And this all just to have identical pictures between the cuts so nobody notices that we made a cut while recording.
Extra Tipp
If you have someone who helps you out it would be perfect as he can help to give you the required Objects in your Hands while you can concentrate to be frozen :)
3. Mask out Reflection in mirror

Now that we have
the desired jumpcut we are going to Mask out the Reflection in the Mirror.
And here comes the point where youre
Editing Software must have a Mask-Tool feature.
We have to Mask out the Bottle in the Reflection and Keyframe them so the move with my Hand and make sure only the Reflection get masked out.
4. Put in the Background Layer
As you could see at the end in the RAW Video I cleared the whole Setting to get the Background Image. This point is VERY Important, the camera should not move for the whole recording time otherwise the Background Footage dont match up with our Main Footage. The light takes also a role.
